I feel privileged to be a part of SRIRAM ACADEMY....

My journey with Sriram Academy began in September 2007 when I chanced upon the website online. Sriram Target - the online postal coaching- helped me kick start my preparation in a systematic way. All the course material adhered to the exam syllabus provided by the IIT and those in History, Sociology, Economics and Environment also provided us with important additional information that proved useful for the examination. In fact, it was through Prof..Raman and his team that I got to know of the exact nature of the MA course and the opportunities ahead.

1 April '08 - the day after my CBSE board exams- onwards I attended SRIRAM Intensive- the 40 day classroom coaching in Ernakulam. The syllabus was tackled subject-wise and the faculty was the same as that in the Chennai branch. All the teachers knew their subjects inside out, were passionate about it and taught it in the best way possible so that at the end of each subject's coaching we were compelled to say "Nobody could have taught us this subject better than the faculty at SRIRAM." The classroom lectures were far from "lectures" - the very term implying a dry, boring format where the teacher drones on and the students sleep. On the contrary, the sessions were most interesting and interactive without ever digressing from the subject at hand. They were educational to the highest degree possible.

In addition to cracking the HSEE, I really do feel I have gained that "extra" something from my time at SRIRAM. I have learnt not only the "what" of studying but also the "how" of preparing for a competitive examination. The many mock exams helped me identify my strong and weak areas and taught me objective self-evaluation. My English and GK have certainly improved, I find myself instinctively reaching out for the "Brain Teasers" section in newspapers (an effect of the Logic and Reasoning sessions) and I'm no longer afraid of Maths. In fact, my preparation for the HSEE also helped me crack the SET and clear the CLAT - an exam I had not prepared for at all- with a rank of 254.

I feel privileged to be a part of SRIRAM ACADEMY and would recommend it to anyone preparing for this exam. The personal nature of the coaching assured me that I was not just "another brick in the wall". My parents and I are extremely grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Raman and the entire SRIRAM team for all their support, timely help and encouragement. I will definitely keep in touch and would be most happy to help in any way possible in future.
